I really wanted to sample some Niechęć since I heard Śmierć W Miękkim Futerku. Those sounds are still very interesting and beautiful in their dissonance, and I think the small piano riff I used was able to capture some of that. I wanted a relatively simple track, but the beats I kept making were too full and complex, so I settled on a break by Speedometer. It was pretty quick, so slowing it down definitely added to the already melancholy chord progression. A few chops and loops later I had the basics down, but it still felt too empty...it needed some guitar. I could play the parts that I sampled, but my recording situation is rather shit, so I just grabbed part of the head from Three Wishes, but the waveform was too full-sounding. After a touch of tweaking, and some 'uhs' from Mr. West, I had the full track ready and it sounded like its namesake–almost. I grabbed the drunken atmos. track and the walking sounds, then added a little sonic trickery to finish it out. I couldn't just fade out, as that's a bit cliché, so I used the ending riff from Hymn to Freedom and some pitch stretching, then reincorporated the earlier sound effects.
