Since 'Unreliable Narrator', the idea of making cohesive albums and really long hip-hop tracks has become quite attractive to me, and this suite is another go at that idea.

I've been sitting on that Flow Broz track for a while, letting it stew in my mind about how to make it into something. I like the transition that it made from 'The Lake', but it was just too empty. I was combing through prospective samples when I saw the All-Star Intro. I slapped it under and was a little surprised at how nicely it sounds. At this point I was getting a touch tired of the heavy drums and I grabbed another Speedometer break on a whim. I slowed it down to tempo, but doubled the speed and suddenly the track took on a wonderful Drum 'n Bass quality. As for the McCann samples, they were a bit of an accident, but I liked how it turned out nonetheless.
